The band then practiced in basements around Leeds for a few months practicing the same 5 or 6 songs over and over until we decided we were tight enough to record a demo in August. In a basement in Leeds a 4 song demo was recorded for cheap and a
band name was given, Torn Apart. The demo’s were shabby, slow and rough but the teen angst could be heard through out, although Harry was 17 and the only teenager at the time he had written the songs and this was the source of the teen angst.

{agresive hardcore/punk in vein of Agnostic Front/Ringworm from Cardiff City} releases: demo 2008 tape contact: www.myspace.com/thehumanracehe i A KUA rp b wh
For the next month or so Torn Apart were a three piece. playing 2 shows in January as such. The first with The Shitty Limits. Brain Dead and Mob Rules at the Fenton in Leeds and the second with loads of terrible bands and Ringworm in Newcastle. Torn Apart somehow ended up playing at midnight on a Sunday and headlined over Ringworm to a crowd of 12. max. The promoter was an idiot and decided to put about 9 bands on one Sunday for the Ringworm show and let them play for as long as they want.
Come February Torm Apart sought out a fourth as Harry decided he would happily take over on main vocals if they could find another bass player. They did. As a result they decided to go back to Bradford and re-record the vocals over the music that we already had because the songs were intended for a 7” but with Kyle no longer in the band it was decided he shouldn't be the one singing on any future releases. They went into the studio and re did the vocals with Harry singing and the rest contributing to back up vocals on a couple of songs. These recordings were much better, it was at this time the band realised that Kyle wasn't a good singer... he was terrible at timing and got all the words wrong. Harry proved to be a much stronger vocalist.
The new 4 piece line up played 2 shows, both at the 1in12 Club in Bradford, the first was Deal With it's first show after splitting up months before, the reception was generally good, but nothing fantastic. The second show was with legendary power violence band Capitalist
Casualties, for this show Torn Apart how a few new songs that were faster, heavier and more hate filled than ever. it was their best show to date getting a warm reception from the crowd and every member pleased with the outcome.
Torn Apart then went into the studio for a third time to re record some songs completely for an EP. They recorded 7 songs, some old, some new, all furious. The recordings were what the band had wanted for months and wili be out on a 7” through Grot Records shortly.
The band then kicked out the bass player for musical and personal reasons and found another almost straight away, Aidan Braybrooke, a close friend of the band who was into their sound and jumped at the chance to play. This is the current line up.
, Torn Apart have gone on to write more songs and have worked on their ‘sound’, trying to make g their newer stuff go down a more infest/Hard To Swaliow/Crossed Out route and have become a ; truly misanthropic power house that is surely a force to be reckoned with. The 7” recently
described as “This angry bunch of Leeds youths. In the vain of Voorhees + Drop Dead. Fast, abrasive and in your face. Watch this space!” the upcoming EP is an eagerly awaited release and will hopefully be the beginning of much more hate filled releases to come...

: + i E a i P FA QK EN; End of the line today, final gig, and it couldn't sÈ. é have gone much better. the lads spend most of
the day smoking their stash and sleeping it off lying around in their pants listening to God is an Astronaut real quiet while | run around town changing their merch money into Hungarian pebbles. The final gig is a belter. both opening bands, Wheelchair Wheelchair Wheelchair Wheelchair and Alters are raging and there is a decent size crowd which by the time Step On it get round to bulldozing over them are in full swing. Unfortunately its straight to the airport for the lads after the gig and off into the fun fun world of the Glasgow night bus service for me. Another tour well done.

__. . LESSON NO.1
cardiff - south wales
Lesson No.1 is a promotional entity based in Cardiff, Wales. it has existed since 2004 and may technically exist for evermore, even if the two people (Noel and Adam) that currently operate it grow tired of promoting music for some hypothetical reason. We don’t really have any schedule that we keep to in terms of how often we put stuff on, nor any specific need to keep our hand in as it were; so yeah, look out for the last tree on earth being turned into paper to make a batch of our flyers {which are immediately dropped on the floor), when we revive the name 30 years on.

ee ee Ee ee Lesson No.1 has been called Lesson No.1 for almost five years. (O SLUDGE METAL. CRUSTY BLACK METAL AND The name comes from a composition by Glen Branca, an NYC Se ee E Securing rt avant-garde musician from the early 80s. Although he is cool by me, it is not intended to reflect the music we put on especially, or to imply that we are ‘educating’ people. Just sounds cool when you Say it. Before we came up with the name we did a few shows as ‘Pian B presents’, as three of us (there have been as many as five people involved at certain points) wrote for the magazine of that name, which closed down earlier this year. Some of us had done a few shows before; Adam did ‘Anonymous Promotions’ which featured shows by ALEC EMPIRE and BILLY MAHONIE among others. The first time | got =| $ o involved in doing this nonsense was in April 2004 for a totally O A rere se awesome, hastily arranged show in Cardiff featuring e > KEELHAUL, TAINT (whose singer roped me in), CAPRICORNS and THE MURDER OF ROSA LUXEMBURG. | realised that this could be quite fun and, more pertinently. if one wanted good e i f ri bands to come to this part of the world, sometimes you have to PN % oy te é take the initiative yourself. Hot tae St es ote ek ts fsa EO en Se
Since then we have done what | count as 81 shows. This includes the three future shows we have booked at the time of writing, the ones before we came up with the name, some collaborative ones (with people like FORECAST, LOOSE, WE HEART RECORDS and SWN) and the pop quizzes we did back in 2006-07 until people got bored and not enough of them turned up (an empty show can be x GAPEENING at: fun still but an empty pop quiz is little use to anyone}. | guess ! oe a ae pig ar laa eee z : am pretty proud of that. A bunch of promoters, of both the ‘DIY’ ALL HAMPERING AY: Le pob, i e r! and ‘aspirational’ type, have come and gone in south Wales in this Se rerperr time. In many cases | suspect they either got bored of the : shitwork you have to do to get any sort of fun out of it at the end, or were over-ambitious and ended up out of pocket. When we threatened to go down an avenue that would obviously be ruinous financially, booking a few too many nights at once that were ina style that people just didn’t care about round here, we moved away from it. Over the years we have definitely taken a loss on the whole thing, which is fine — this isn't a business, nor could it ever be in this incarnation — but we're both broke all the time and we can't be starry-eyed about what we can front the cash money for. Lesson No.1 has never been presented as a non-profit organization or anything; rather, it just tends to put on styles of music that clearly aren’t going to make a profit.
Although | tend to prefer smaller venues in terms of watching bands, where you can actually be close to the music and have a sense of interaction, two of my favourite Lesson No.1 shows were two of the biggest: LIGHTNING BOLT (May 2006), which had over 300 people in I think, and SILVER JEWS (July 2006), which had about 200. Both of those were in the Point, a cool ex-church venue in Cardiff Bay which is currently closed. They were great not for any financial reasons {not that they were in SS . any way big moneyspinners) but because the headlining bands -o were totally chill dudes who were very easy to talk to and + : genuinely ed to be in the place. It might not sound like much Ciwb IFor Bach
but you can bet your ass there are a ton of garbage bands on June ath. 7 30pm ES
the ‘indie’ ‘circuit’ that are five times as arrogant with 10% of the talent, excitement or experience. We don't tend to put on
many of the Barfly circuit type bands, although we don’t have anything set in stone about what bands we host. Our tastes tend to veer to stuff that is DIY and self-evidently separated
from mainstream channels, | guess. More mainstream stuff is generally catered for in Cardiff, so there’s not much point in
rushing to put it on ourselves in any case.

Cheers Noel, Lesson No.7
Weil, it all
started in 2004 at York University.
The University's annual ‘Battle of the Bands’
contest had caught the eye of Barthur and Smith, who had just
met and become friends through the mutual cultivation of various bad habits. The plan was simple - quickly form an obnoxious grindcore band in time to enter the Battle of the Bands competition and thus ensure that harsh blasting noise was fairly represented in the face of a wishy-washy indie rock milieu on campus. This way we could discover new friends amongst the student populous who were similarly obsessed with raucous music, cricket, and drinking, and in the process alienate and disgust anyone who didn’t share our foolish tendencies.
Gathering together a group of friends with a shared interest in grind/punk/siudge and brain-cell destruction (most of whom had never played in a band before), the legendary cricket-core group LBW was formed; a 6-piece grind band bedecked in full whites and cricketing regalia, playing brutal, noisy sub-one-minute compositions with a lyrical focus on the ancient and venerable British game (it must also be said that these compositions were played with all the skill and finesse of an over-weight amateur Sunday-league tail-end batsmen). Miraculously, the nascent grind combo won over the hearts and minds of York students, leading to the improbable spectacle of the band playing their 3rd ever gig to a sold out 400+ crowd at the B.O.B final. Needless to say, by the end of LBW’s twenty-minute set at Langwith College that crowd had dwindled to around 20 head-banging loons. Mission accomplished.
Over the course of the next year LBW played several gigs in York, introducing new elements to the cricket theme such as mid-set breaks for tea and cake to be served to the audience, and developing a rather Tuffnel-esque penchant for debauchery along the way. Alas, LBW had a lively but brief innings, leaving behind just one release (‘The ist Innings’ CD-R) compiling live recordings and the original ‘Caught in the crease’ and 'Bashcore’ demos. Band members went on to such disparate pastures as secondary school teaching, living in South Korea, full-time parenting, and provincial drug-dealing. However, the remaining core of the rhythm section (Barthur, Smith, and Bear) relocated to Leeds in late 2006, and by 2007 The Afternoon Gentlemen was formed. Notorious local throat-shredder, beer-guzzler and grind-monger Rich, already a friend of the band, joined on vocals to complete the line-up, and so The Afternoon Gentiemen continued from where LBW had left off, albeit with a slimmed-down line-up and a new band theme of vagrancy, alcoholism and homelessness replacing the previous obsession with Cricket (‘Afternoon Gentlemen’ being a euphemism for tramps or drunkards).
Early efforts from T.A.G continued the patented messy-but-eclectic LBW style of death/grind/doom/metal, but by 2007 the sound had become slightly more coherent and stripped down. After a string of gigs TAG's debut was released by the summer of that year, a split CD-R with fellow Leeds power-violence fiends Warboys, recorded in the basement and self-released. Shortly after this original guitarist Bear relocated to his hometown Bradley and Warboys bassist Mick (aka Oily Groico) stepped in on guitar. By the end of 2007 Groico had quickly found his feet and after more local gigging the Afternoon Gentlemen unleashed a second split with obscure cult Doom abomination Khunnt, quickly followed by the 'No messin’ about style’ EP, again both home-recorded self-released CD-R’s, in
keeping with the bands DIY ethic. These releases cemented the band's sound, which had developed into an eccentric mix of old school grind, slow sludgy sections, and strong power-violence and crust/hardcore influences.
Since then T.A.G have played live over 100 times, with bands such as Capitalist Casualties, Brutal Truth, Sylvester Staline, Gentle Art of Choking, A Den of Robbers, Cold War, Krap Nek, Strong as Ten, Oi Polloi and many more. In 2008 Keep Screaming records released a 30-track pro-tape containing the first 3 CD-R releases plus live tracks and songs from the UK Death feast comp. Also
available is the recent 'European Fastness’ 5-way split CD, featuring 9 tracks from The Afternoon Gentlemen, plus music by Ocksen, Ablach, Xaros, and A Den of Robbers, and the self-released ‘Afterdoom’ EP, a specially packaged limited 3-track doom CD.
In March 2009 the band went to a ‘proper’ studio (Silent City) for the first time to record the debut 7" EP ‘Pissed Again’ (16 tracks). Easily the band's best recording yet, this should be out by the end of the year through Keep Screaming, Beefy, Cat and Owl, Undisiessed, and Divergent Series records. Also keep your eyes peeled for the Gents playing a few live shows with Insect Warfare and Spoonful of Vicodin in the UK later this year.
| we've organised a split 7" between ourselves and OSK from Canada (http:/Iwww.myspace.com/oskvan) i the whole thing should be recorded with artwork etc around June time.

! THE HORROR "Spoils of War" CD
Though the sweet looking cover suggests gore-grind, The Horror play straight up old-school hardcore, sounding more like Black Flag than your teenage Black Flag covers band. The tried and tested mix of D-beats and tired-sounding-bloke shouts is interspersed with bursts of way too loud major-scale soloing. Like a hardcore Status Quo, this stuff would have sounded retro 25 years ago.
However, the lack of ideas on display often actually works to The Horror's advantage. While everything will sound familiar to anyone who's ever heard a record, the lack of scenester fashioncore bullshit is pretty refreshing, as is the relentlessness with which they blast though this set. Only one song, the closing title track, exceeds 3 minutes, most fall short of 2. Much of the best material appears in the middle of the album. “Status Hiatus”, “Spurn” and “The Menace”are particularly ass-smashing. “Waiting for a sign” varies the pace a little, alternately galloping and lunging menacingly. There are enough dynamic shifts in their assault to keep things interesting throughout. The lyrics are usual hardcore fare, all about society and war and stuff. | didn’t pay too much attention but I'm fairly sure no medieval warriors or dragons are mentioned.
The production is shiny enough to be clear but crusty enough to sound like something dug out of the back of the SST sofa. Old punks and hardcore fans with symmetrical hair cuts will lap this up. Folks less Rollins-tolerant may find it makes them want to grow their hair, drink beers and listen to songs about wizards. I'm somewhere in between mostly. While not my usual cup of tea, The Horror's blasting energy is infectious.
ROT IN HELL "Hallways Of The Always" CD
Rot in Hell also have somewhat misleading artwork. | was expecting black metal (maybe because I’m a trendy douche) but again we're in hardcore territory. Rot in Hell are heavier on the squeegieys than their label-mates. The production is often crispier and more in the red than The Horror, if inconsistently so. This is not surprising as the album is a collection of 7“s and newer stuffs.
While still having both feet firmly in hardcore there's a heavy dose of Converge-style cross-over metalz thrown in, and perhaps a wee death metal influence too. 2-parter “The Barrens - Cholothrax” is particular metallic. Luckily Rot in Hell never stray into metal-core territory; there are no sideways haircuts or youth-sized t-shirts here.
The vocals bark and snarl pleasingly, especially in the second half (seemingly the newer stuff). 4 of these tracks are covers - “The Promise” (Ringworm), “Kingdom of Heaven (Integrity), “Final Word" {Meanstreak} and best of all “Chunks” (Last Rights). All of these rule, especially Chunks, if not quite to the same extent as the Dinosaur Jr version. The best tracks, such as "Iron Halo” and “Black Omega”, see the hardcore and metal influences jell into tight and ferocious blasts, the latter sounding almost like early Mastodon. "Skincrawl" is even better, dropping the tempo into sludgier, almost Kylesa-like territory.
The odd floaty psychedelic section, such as the intro and outro to “Dyonisian", breaks up the ferocity momentarily. j The only real misstep is“Psionic Annihilation” which starts strong like a bad-ass Converge out-take but shits the bed with a boring-as-tits lame solo wig-out, which lasts twice as long as the good bit of the song, then fades out
; and comes back in again for no reason. Similarly confusing is the closing initially acoustic track “Now, Today, Tomorrow, and Always” I guess that’s the Converge influence again. Whereas Converge might slap a similar track at the start or in the middle to emphasise the brutality of the rest of the set, shoving this strange stoned busker ina cave jam at the end is a curious choice. Even odder is the fact that the closing half of this 8 minute track is just electronic noise and samples. Many folks will probably decide to hit stop and repeat at this point. | however, Salute them for closing a slamming hardcore album with some crap jams and annoying noise. Both cds are solid slaps of meaty slam damage. Recommended and, for £4 a pop, they are a Grafenwalder of a bargain too. {Grot records, Leeds, http:/iwww.myspace.com/grotrecords} {reviews written by Linus}

v/a European Fastness "Grindcore compilation" CD
This is a 5-way split brimming with many tracks so I'll deal with each band individually. £
OCKSEN. The standout element here is the vocal delivery; it's demented. The vocalist bellows in a disturbed fashion i
over the band- who churn out a crusty kind of grind with emphasis on power chord led rhythm and an obvious love
for that old-school grind snare sound. To me this band seem more Japanese-Hardcore in their approach, and that's }
no bad matter. : 3
XAROS. | first heard Xaros on their excellent split with the now defunct {i think) Rising Terror (with whom I have had $
the pleasure of gigging} and these tunes continue in that vein: throbbing, desperate sounding aggression that wraps ( itself in a hugely distorted mix that sounds as terrifying and it does killer. Plus they lump in some sweet-ass power
riffs. HEY — FUCK YOU. i
A DEN OF ROBBERS. ADOR open up with tight-sounding drums blasting out very nicely. They combine this with a ak
vocal and guitar style that is almost post-hardcore; by which | mean droney/siudgey chords and a yearning |
pinched-throat yelp. It's not only original but also well thought out, which is always to be lauded in grind. Personally
i'd like the vocals quieter in the mix but that's a matter of taste. Other than that gripe these tracks are very i
promising. }
THE AFTERNOON GENTLEMEN. Having just reviewed their 7" I'm not going to say much other than these tracks }
basically reinforce my opinions. Which are good. So there. i
ABLACH. I've gigged with this band once and love everything about them. There's nothing grimmer than some i
pissed-off Scotsmen and they really pump it out here, offering up a filthy sounding bag of tunes. The drums blast,
the riffs crush and the vocalists stamp about the metaphorical place like metaphorical men metaphorically possessed. Ablach combine sludge and grind really successfully, to the point where one must think about it to 7 realize that's what is going on. ONE HUNDRED STARS. ;

The Afternoon Gentlemen "Pissed Again" EP
The perplexingly monickered ‘The Afternoon Gentlemen‘ serve up a tasty plate of infectious slammin’ grind. This release is loaded with plenty of hooky riffs and the ubiquitous grindcore screaming and grunting- featuring an wy especially effective high pitched squeel- but as we all know the true measure of a grind release are the blasts, which 1 TAG have in spades. They mix it up with some choice breakdowns that occasionally veer all the way down to doom be
tempos. Before the next biast kicks in anyway. Perhaps my favorite thing about this release is the tough-sounding f man-rant vocals that put this reviewer in mind of Aaorepnobic Nosebleed, which is about as high compliment | j could pay. i The production is tight and the sound well-balanced between the bassy guitars and shrill screeching, infact it's possibly too smooth in places, but that doesn't stop it being pretty awesome and over too quickly. :

We are a 4-piece political punk band from Bristol, UK, who play kind of crusty/anarcho with some noodly bits in and lyrics about little things like how the environment is getting totally fucked while consumer capitalism and apathy hold sway, ‘politics’ rules our lives through ee the Apartheid in Palestine/israel, fascism in black metal, etc. We've played and organised a lot of gigs, often benefits for various activist groups that reflect the politics of members of the band.
The band started in early 2006. Andy had been trying to start a band for a while (he'd done the hard part and found a drummer, Matt) but despite trying loads of promising punk musicians he was running out of options. He saw Badger had a CRASS tattoo at a free party and so talked him into learning bass and managed to recruit Other Andy to play guitar. They wanted a 2nd guitarist so after trying everyone else ob < asked me (Myles) coz | was mates with Matt. We practised in Other Andy’s basement and started gigging in summer 2006 (i.e far too early, which Bristol has never forgiven us forl). It was all pretty ropey with crap songs that we could never remember when we sobered up and people frequently missing practice and, after some fucking shit performances up and down the country, Other Andy decided that as a talented musician he had better things to do than play in a crap anarcho band and left in June ‘07.
He was right so there were no hard feelings. This was actually a bit of a blessing as we realised we needed to sort our shit out and by the end of the year we were in pretty good shape as a four-piece. Badger decided that as we'd managed to attract no fans at all in the UK it was time to conquer Europe and booked a week in Germany, Holland and Belgium for April ‘08. We needed a driver with a van and Andy said he knew someone in Leeds who drove bands around so we contacted Talla to drive us on tour. Although some of us had seen her in her previous band we didn’t actually know her and she’d only seen us once (a shite early incarnation}, but after the 1st gig of the tour she asked if she could do some singing. We taught her a different song each day of the tour in sound check and by the time we got back she'd Joined the band and decided to move to Bristol. This 5-piece line up lasted about a year,
including a tour of Scotland with DISKELMA which was fucking amazing, until Talia decided that life in JESUS BRUISER wasn’t for her and returned to the frozen North of Engiand.
in an unconnected move we'd decided that we needed 2 guitarists again if we were going become the self-indulgent prog-crust wankers we now dreamt of being. We approached Alexis, a Greek guitar god who played in local band BELLADONNA (now known as MY NEW LOW) and had come to our attention by actually —- to gigs and saying he liked what we were doing. We trained him up fast and played some gigs in May/June 2009 finishing with a weekend we were invited over to in Holland playing Amsterdam and Groningen which was cool and very messy. Alexis then went back to Greece to recuperate from the new J.B lifestyle for the summer but returned and we started gigging hard as a

in late November 2009 after a string of gigs we with the final Andy, leaving Myles, Alexi and Badger to take up full responsibility for vocal duties, the logic being the more idiots screeching into microphones the more effective the masking of instrumental ineptitude.
We've got a 6 track 10” that is out now (email us to arrange getting a copy, or if you’re in Bristol on Saturday between 14am-2pm try the Kebele infoshop ~ 14 Robertson Road, Easton, BS5 6JY). it’s been a total nightmare to do: we recorded it in October 2008 (with Talia but before Alexis), took ages to mix it, didn’t like that mix so took months waiting to get it remixed. It was originally going to be released as a split 12” with DISKELMA but we took so long they decided to release their tracks separately. So we released it ourselves and fortunately some lovely people in France offered to help us because they liked what we were doing, particularly the fact that we were anti-Myspace.
We've now recorded some new songs with the new line up that should be out as a split LP with the epic WAR COMA from Manchester that’s due out early 2010 (in time for our next European tour in April — watch the website), and also have songs recorded for a split 7” in the future as well.
You can check us out at www.jesusbruiser.co.uk to find out about gigs, listen to some songs, contact us about anything, etc. Cheers!

February the Sixteenth,
Work began on the debut Hope is Noise album, 'Applaud Friends, the comedy is over’ ~ local punk rock hero's with anthems that every local kid sings along to ~ Rimbaud released their album on cd. Not typical for the label to stick to one type of DIY/Punk music, this was more clean and rock sounding but nowadays Hope is Noise are more raw and noise driven - they release their second album in late 2009.
Rimbaud records strives to release music on the boundaries of intelligent sound, and releases by Bracket.Retards.Bracket {Fucked up noise industrial punk from Dublin), Hey Colossus(heavy heavy), Violent Breakfast (italian punk/screamo) are testement to an innovative and varied spirit at the heart of the label. We got the chance to release Protestant ‘the hate the hollow! lp which took the hardcore up a notch - fury being the name of the game here. This was followed by one hell of a tornado in the Kursk/Lycanthrophy split 7inch.I nearly cried my fucking eyes out with happenness when i heard these two bands were joining forces on the ONCE record.Lycanthrophy were in my record collection for years through their previous record releases via Insane Society Records - i like it fast and hard, and Lycanthrophy always made my head spin. Kursk, as those who know them already can tell you, are one hell of a tight, fast and wierd hardcore band - fresh and exciting and heavy as hell. The label was now reaching its aim set out at the start.
The latest releases on the label comes via Gary Suicidal Kids Commando and Thou. Gary Suicidal Kids Commando are basically what Envy would have been like if they hadn't gone all soft and shitty on Temperary Residence Records and had gotten more vast and heavy - you like Neurosis and full on epic punk? Then you'll like this french unit ALOT.
Thou come from Louisiana, USA -~- they have been one of the most talked about bands since whoever is talked about alot(?)...and they're recent Irish/UK tour proved why.Dedicated to playing heavy hardcore sludge, touring and releasing amazing records on serious labels such as Level Plane/Southern Lord/Feast of Tentacles - they go for the gut while tearing away everything you previously thought you knew about heavy music.The ifinch is pretty much sold out - keep an eye out at various distros maybe.

Atomçk formed in the early part of 2006 , not long after Linus and Luke's respective previous bands had collapsed due to people either moving away or being too old and/ or retarded. We wanted to do some kind of extreme metal project that combined bits and pieces (synths/ harsh noise) that we were already know for using with heavy metal guitars and screaming; without any kind of blueprint for what this should sound like a programme of “research” (i.e. deciding which other bands to rip off) indicated we would be 78% suited for some kind of grindcore enterprise.
Bearing this in mind the new band began writing a lot of Agoraphobic Nosebleed style hyperfast supershort songs; all the while imagining this rubbish would wind up as a short term diversion.
Then came iots of gigs.
A few years, several DIY albums and many shows later Atomck decided to ditch the machine drum and train up a living drummer (Hibakusha veteran Marzena}; simultaneously losing their novelty appeal and unique selling point in one last fateful gamble at being considered a real band.
Or to put it more sensibly here's local high-level enforcer Noel Gardner:
Atomck are a trio from South Wales {and Bristol, and the Czech Republic) who, since 2006, have made fast and intense and scarcely comprehensible music, before going out and performing it to audiences in whichever venues will accommodate them. Some magazines reviews have a bit that says FOR FANS OF: and then some bands. If you are a reviewer, or hold some other position that might compel you to write fancypants sentences about music for an inspecific public, you can steal these with no threat of repercussion from me: Agoraphobic Nosebleed, The Locust, Man ts The Bastard, Coalesce, Today Is The Day, Slayer, Pig Destroyer. Grind and sludge and neo-noisecore and unabashed thrash guitar wail and electronics.
